SUBJECT: Comments for Caldwell Planning & Zoning Commission
February 23, 2001 meeting
The Caldwell Fire Department (CFD) offers the following comments regarding these cases to come
before the Caldwell Planning & Zoning Commission meeting for February 23, 2001:
Case No. VAR-20-01— SFR frontage size reduction
Location: Mid block of Main Street between 15`r' and 16th
Applicant: Canyon County Habitat for Humanity
The CFD does not have any problems with this variance. However, we do urge that any and all
required setbacks be applied due to the proximity of adjoining structures on adjoining lots. We
would also ask that the developer be required to have the trees trimmed up on the alleyway and
along Main Street to allow safe passage of fire apparatus. The address that will be assigned this SFR
will be 1516 Main Street.
