consideration by the City of Caldwell for annexation into the Cify with the zoning
designation of R-1. This property ii identified by the Canyon County Assessor ur p*..1

I hereby consent and agree to the annexation and zoning of the above referenced property

Applicants are requesling subject property be annexed into the city of caldwell with thefollowing zoning designationi: n-t singte-ramity nesiaential (see accompanying mapsand legal descriptions) based on the following:
o Subject property is contiguous to the City of Caldwell along its south boundary.Adjacent City zoning is R-1. It is also located within the Caldwill Area of Impact.
o The Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map designation for subject property isAgricultural. In reviewing the various .o.ponJrts of the comprehensive plan
consideration was given to the following:

O OBJECTIVES APPLICABLE TO AREA OF CITY IMPACT USE:
A' "To encourage development as a natural outward progression of the City,scorporate boundaries and within areas that can be immeiiately annexed.
B' "To support Canyon County's efforts to protect valuable agricultural land byencouraging development to occur insidi areas that are writhin City/CountyImpact boundaries.,,
o Subject property is currently within the Caldwell East Urban Renewal Agencyboundary.
o The requested zoning designation R-l is a continuation of the zoning designationsestablished by the. City through recent annexations to the south of subject property.The requested zoning designations also lend to the City's desire to create areas withinthe city which will develop as live, _work, play communities. Subject property islocated approximately %miie north of the intlrsiction of KCID Rd. and H*v. 20-26.Recently annexed properties along Hwy. 20-26 are zoned commercial which willpotentially provide future residents of this areas in which they will be able to workand shop.
