Re:Annexation request, attached and made apart of Annexation Application by
Karen Roark.
Reason for request:
The subject property has been in weeds for the past several years and is too small a parcel
to farm even if it were feasible. The subject parcel lies contiguous to and just south of a
parcel of land located just north of the subject property which is in the city impact area.
The subject consists of six lots and is part of the subdivision known as "Hill-View Placd'
subdivision which was platted in 1958. Canyon County currently has the subject parcel
zoned R-1.
If approved, this would be a natural extension of the city limits and would not adversely
affect the surrounding properties, and in fact, be harmonious with existing developments
An approval would allow connection to city water which is located contiguous to and just
west of the subject parcel. This would take non productive land and allow for an
attractive small housing development which would compliment the city of Caldwell.
