Dear Council Members:
I have recenfly received notice of the inclusion of Case No. ANN-64-02 and SUP-
153-02 on your agenda for April l5n', 2002. These cases are the request of Clayne
flanson to annex and build a mini-storage facility on the corner of Montana and
Ustick Roads.
I will be unable to attend this meeting, so I am sending in this written testimony in
my absence.
My name is Dawna Jenkins, I live at 1403 E. ustick Road in Caldwell.
I own the property directly to the east of this property, I will share 660 lf of property
line with this development.
I would like to go on record as being ' in favor' of this development.
I would like to thank Mr. Hanson for his approach to this project. He has been out
to the site to meet with the neighbors numy times and has made himself readily
available by phone and mail for any questions and concerns.
Like most neighbors when approached with a development I initially had questions
about visibility of outdoor storage, lighting, main access, hours of operation, and
security. Mr. Hanson listened to my concems, allowed my input and addressed all
of my questions to my satisfaction.
Finally, I would just like to say that I believe this development will be a good
neighbor and I hope that you approve it. I have attended aII prior meetings on this
development from its initial attempt at approval within the county, to its meet ngs
through planning and zoning, I regret that I am unable to re-arrange my schedule to

attend the City Council Meeting and speak in person for its approval. I hope this
letter will be an appropriate substitute to my being there in person.
