RE: Amendments to Zoning Ordinance Text - Public Hearing set for July 7, 1997
The attached list of text amendments to the Zoning Ordinance will be going before City Council on
July 7, 1997. These amendments are to the listing of special uses within given zones. Broadening
this list will provide the opportunity for persons to apply for a special use permit to conduct one of
these uses on their respective sites. Each application requires a public hearing, which in turn will
require this department to request review and comment from the respective irrigation district that has
jurisdiction over the specific site. These proposed text amendments, at this time, are not related to
specific sites.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
LEGAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of Caldwell, will
hold a public hearing in the City Hail Council Chambers, 621 Cleveland Boulevard, Caldwell,
Idaho, Monday, July 7, 1997, at 7:30 p.nL to hear the following:
A recommendation by the Caldwell Planning and Zoning Commission to approve a request by
Caldwell SIC, LLC; Floyd J. Shelp, Jr.; Helen F. Stoelting; and A John Shelp to amend
Zoning Ordinance No. 1451, Table 1, Land Use Schedule, R-2 Zone, by adding Mobile Home
Park as a Special Use to bring the Zoning Ordinance into conformity with the Caldwell
Comprehensive Plan's Land Use component regarding Medium. Density ResidendaL

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
LEGAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Caldwell City Council will hold a public hearing
in the City Hall Council Chambers, 621 Cleveland Boulevard, Caldwell, Idaho, Monday, July 7,
1997, at 7:30 p.m. to hear the following requests:
A recommendation by the Caldwell Planning and Zoning Commissio rove the request by

A recommendation by the Caldwell Planning and Zoning Commission to approve the request by
Donald L. Lane for approval of Case No. OA-05-97 to amend Article 2, Land Use Schedule, Table
1 of Zoning Ordinance No. 1451 by adding "Truck and Tractor Repair" to the list of special uses in
the C4 zone.
A recommendation by the Caldwell Planning and Zoning Commission to approve the request by
Linda Stephens for approval of Case No. OA-04-97 to amend Article 2, Land Use Schedule, Table
1 of Zoning Ordinance No. 1451 by adding "Espresso/Pastry Shop" to the list of special uses in the
R-2 zone.

Rise, Multiple Family" and by replacing the same with the following: "Dwelling, Multi -Family: A
building used for occupancy by seven or more families living independently of each other and
containing a separate dwelling unit for each family, such building not to exceed four stories."
