consideration- Dennis indicated that Lincoln Street is classified as a collector roadrvay and along

Mr. Aaderson was opposed to the restriction conceming the offset intersection of Shane Place
and Teton Avenue, but Dennis r€minded the Commission that this is a Code rcquirement for

The applicant is wiiling to work with the city on storm water deteotion but does trot want to set
up detention lots. They would prefer if possible to use tbe existing stoEn draios which are in the
adjacent right-of-way on Homedale Aveure.
Dennis commenrcd that the $ate and federal govemments encourage m*ite retention of storm
water runoff on sirc but does not preclude one from using storm water frcilities that are aheady
in place. This can be worked ou with thc applicantd engineer and thc City before fin^l plat
approval Dennis added that if uhimately it is decided that the stoun water nmoff has to be
rctained on site the Planning andTlnrng Dcpartment would prefer separate lots to !6 maintained
by a mec,hanism set up by the developer to ensurc ongoing m4intenance.
