Rezoning request of O. T. Sanders from R t to R 3.
We are opposed to rezoning this area to R I beeause,
When we purchased our home here lt was zoned residentiaL 'and we wish to malntaln tt as sueh. And not adjaeent to an R )
ar6a or bave our home iJl one.
We were led to believe l{r. Sanders had suffieient parking
for all ears at the property across the street f,rom our home,
oecupied by The Heaf!6 and Welfare offices. This ls very un-
true as there are ears parked along South Kiroball Avenue a great
deal of the tlme creating a traffle hazard. Along with the
traffie hazard ereated by the people oarking along South ffuibeLl
we also object to the trash and 1ltter that the people dlspoae
of along the street that frequent the area.
We objeet to thls beeause. we do not wish to have a great
traffie flow by here, whieh is ha3ardous and ineapable to the
residential and home atmosphere of our area.
This has e tendeney to lower the value and degrade our
property as resldentlal whleh we feel is a legetimate reason
for objeeting to thls Pezoning.
Can one man be aLlowed to degrade a residential erea just
to further hls ambltions.
We have continually objeeted to having this rezoned es

TESTIMONY IN OPPOSITION OF PROPOSED ZONE CHANGE OT PROPERTY ON CI.EIfELAI\ID
BOIILEVARD BETWEEN 12TH A}.ID 13TH STREETS
Honorable llayor Pasley:
Our dealings with the city of Caldwe11 have been favorable since establishing
our residence in Caldwel1 in 1971. One of the major attractions to the city
was the beautiful o1d homes located on Blaine, Cleveland, Dearborn and Everett
streets.
You can i.magine how pleased we were to have the opportunity to buy our first
home at L2O3 Dearborn. We have lived there for over one year and have in-
vested a large portion of our time and money in restoring the home to its
original condition in 1910, the year it was built.
I strongly feel that this area of town should be protected from further
encroachnent of gsmmsaqis] establishrnents to ensure that the beauty of these
old homes will stand for years to come.
Please, let t s not extend t'Nampa Ca1dwell Boulevardtt through our oldest and
nicest section of town. We're asking that you keep Cleveland Boulevard from
12th Street to 21st Street zoned in accordance with the comprehensive plan as
adopted in 1971.
Thank you for any consideration you give to this request.
