Cases for Public Hearing
The following Cases are scheduled to be heard before the Planning and Zoning Commission on
September 25, 1997:
Case No. SUB-O5P-97 (West Valley Estates Subdivision No. 2), a request by J.B. Farms
for preliminary plat approval to develop 64 residential lots on approximately 13.84 acres
located in the R-1 zone. The site is located on the east side of South 10th Avenue and
south of Ustick Road, and is described as a parcel of land located in the SW 1/4 NW 1/4
of Section 3, Township 3 North, Range 3 W.B.M.
Case No. SUB-O6P-97 (West Valley Estates Subdivision No. 3), a request by J.B. Farms
for preliminary plat approval to develop 52 residential lots on approximately 10.57 acres
located in the R-1 zone. The site is located on the east side of South 10th Avenue and
south of Ustick Road, and is described as a parcel of land located in the sw 114 Nw 114
of Section 3, Township 3 North, Range 3 W.B.M.
case No. vAR-05-97, a request by carco Mineral Resources, lnc., for a 35-foot variance
from the 45-foot height limitation in orderto construct an 8o-foot storage silo and loading
facility over the rail spur track located north of La Fond Street and west of Blomqulst
Avenue; the location of the Site is more commonly known as 520 Blomquist Avenue and
iszoned M-1. ,1" pl"- "1,,1r.,
Case No. VAR-06-97, a request by Caldr/tdl lnn/Best Westem, for a 2o-foot variance from
the 4s-foot height limitation in order to construct a 65-foot advertisement sign. The site is
more commonly known as 908 Spect Street and is zoned C-3.
case No. oA-10-97, a request by the caldwell community Development Department for
approval of an amendment to the text of Zoning ordinance No. 1451 to delete all
reierenced fee amounts as set forth in the following: 1) Section 10-02-09, subsection 3;
Section 10-03-06, subsections 1,2,3,4,5,6,7; Section 10-03-10, subsection 2; Section
10-04-04, subsections 1A and D, and 2; Section 10-05-03, subsection 1; Section 10-05-05,
subsection 68; and, Section 10-06-03, subsection 1A.
