SUMMARYSTATEMENT.
Caldwell Family YMCA located at 3720 S Indiana Ave. desires to abandon the use of their own
existing pressure irrigation station. Its performance has diminished since the original installation. It
is common for City Water Department and Parks Department staff to assist the YMCA with operation
and maintenance of the existing station at the north edge of the YMCA property. As the station
continues to age, frequent maintenance becomes necessary.
The City of Caldwell Water and Engineering Departments have already made the necessary upgrades
to the Brothers Park pressure irrigation station to accommodate the addition of Sisters Park and the
YMCA. Caldwell City Public Works Director has directed that the annexation fee be waived.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the resolution to admit Caldwell Family YMCA into Caldwell Municipal Irrigation
District.
