Members Present: Jeanne Cridebring, Women's Representative Sue Kushlan Chuck Bosen, Secretary Zach Wagoner, Chairman Shirley Akagi, Vice Chairman Pam Wagoner, Jr. Golf Representative Dwight Barker, Men's Representative Staff Present: Ken Wheeler, Course Superintendent Brett Williams, Purple Sage Golf Course Professional John McGee, City Council Representative Members Unable to Attend: Carol Mitchell, Deputy Treasurer City of Caldwell Doreen Burnham Review of Minutes from June 22"^ 2022 The minutes from the June 22"^, 2022, were reviewed by the board prior to the meeting. After a couple of minor adjustments In phrasing, Sue Kushlan moved to accept the minutes. Jeanne Cridebring seconded the motion - the motion carried. Old Business: Sue Kushlan brought forward ongoing discussion about the concern of underage children on the golf courses and the potential liability risks to the city. John McGee will review the concern with attorneys for the city and report back at the next board meeting. Jeanne Cridebring suggested that it be well posted so that it can be enforced as necessary. Brett Williams noted that it is posted at both courses. Zach Wagoner Inquired as to how many events with underaged children had occurred at either course over the past 25 years. There were no events that board members could recall. Sue Kushlan also noted that It Is posted on the city website under the golf course section. Sue Kushlan also brought forward the ongoing discussion about the dress code and a few observed violations of late. Shirley Akagi posed the question of the severity of the problem and level of intervention needed. A few examples were shared, and the board discussed options. A decision was made to maintain the signage at both courses that reads "Proper golf attire is appreciated". John McGee noted that the signage allows the course to address an issue/policy in the event of an extreme case. Brett Williams expressed that any intervention with a dress code violation or the like that could affect a customer would be addressed by him personally or someone designated by him (i.e., Braxton Miller). Shirley Akagi made a motion to recommend that a sign be posted at both courses that reads "Proper Golf Attire is
