LEGAL NOTICE lS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Caldwell City Council will hold a public
hearing in the City Hall Council Chambers,621 Cleveland Boulevard, Caldwell, ldaho,
Monday, November 17, 1997, at 7:30 p.m., to hear the following:
Case No. ANN-05-97, a recommendation by the Caldwell Planning and Zoning
Commission to approve the request by Val R. Feller to annex approximately 8.77 acres
zoned County R-1 into the City as an R-1 zone. The site is located on the southwest
corner of the intersection of Syringa Lane and Florida Avenue.
Case No. OA-13-97, a recommendation bythe Caldwell Planning and Zoning Commission
to approve proposed amendments to Caldwell Subdivision Ordinance No. 1758. The
proposed text amendments address the following: Section 11-02-04: Stage 2, Preliminary
Plat, Subsection 3, A., add wording that will require a preliminary plat to be prepared by a
land surveyor licensed in the State of ldaho; Section 11-02-04, delete Subsection 5, A-G,
Preliminary Plat Approval, and replac€ with Subsection 5, A-D, Action by the Planning and
Zoning Commission; Section 11-02-04, delete Subsection 6, A-D, Significance of
Preliminary Approval, and replace with Subsection 6, A-E, Conditions of Preliminary Plat
Approval; add the following to Section 11-O2-04: Subsection 7, Significance of Preliminary
Plat Approval, and Subsection 7-A, Request for Final Plat Approval and Recordation of
Plat, and Subsection 7-8, Request to Commence Construction of lmprovements Prior to
Submifting the Final Plat for Public Hearing; delete Section 11-02-06, Stage 3, Final Plat,
Subsection 1-5, and replace with Section 11-02-06, Stage 3, Final Plat, and add
Subsection '1, A-N, Final Submittal; delete Section 11-04-06, Submittal Review and
Approval of Engineering Plans, Subsections 1-3; Section 11-02-07, delete Subsection 5E,
requiring a certificate of plat approval by Planning and Zoning Commission; delete Section
11-04-07, Guarantee of Construction in its entirety; delete Section 11-05-01, Variances,
in its entirety, and renumber Sections 11-02-02 through 11-02-05. Further information and

You are receiving this notice because ldaho Code 67-6501 , Local Planning Act of 1975,
requires notice of this public hearing to be provided to political subdivisions that provide
services within the City's planning jurisdiction.
Files and exhibits relative to this request are on file at City Hall in the Community
Development Department and are available for review during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. Monday through Friday. Further information on these requests can be obtained by
