and minutes and provide comment if desired.

September 7,202t, November 9,202L, and December 9, 202t.
MOTION CARRIED
Most of the students present in the meeting had attended the Youth Forum held at Bogus
Basin on lanuary 19, 2022. Some of their takeaways:
Best moments:. Hands-on activities (snow science, snowshoes),. Team bonding - team activities with students they didn't know. Card game at lunch (con-vo cards in their bags). Games on the bus. Snowshoes made getting around in the snow easier; project that to school time and
use the tools given at school to achieve school goals
Suggestions for improvement:o Bus snacks - cheese is pretty soft by the end of the day. Less granola, add chips (hot
Cheetos). Group activity that uses all of the group. More diverse groups - choose ahead of time to even the mix. At lunch, assign places
at tables (CHS student, Elevate Student, CSHS student, etc.). Interactive card game-like activity for the bus ride home. Many were sleeping.
Ron presented an invitation from the Caldwell School District office to attend the district
meeting on April 11th at 7pm. Several students agreed to attend and help present their
perspective on outcomes from the lanuary Forum at Bogus Basin.
Meeting adjourned at 10:52am.
See Addendum on reverse; notes from visit to Canyon Springs High School students and
stafF regarding the January Forum.
Addendum: On March 29,2022 Ron Bonneau, Oster Hernandez, and Angie Point met at
Canyon Springs High school with school staff and students in attendance: lustin Hand
(staffl, Kadan Slack, Nina Rass, Cloey Media, Christy McMillen (staff), and Tawnya Feeney
(staff).
Discussion centered around the students'takeaways from the January Forum:. Worthwhile, definitely would participate again. Conversations and activity on the bus on the way home didn't tie in as well because
many were'wiped out' and sleePing.. Loved the team activities, and felt being teamed up with others they didn't know was
helpful in bonding as a team. Liked being able to sit with their own school during
lunch,
When presented with the opportunity to share at the upcoming Caldwell School District
meeting on April 1lth, several will plan to come.
Bianca Stevenson (Communications Specialist at City Hall) will set up a ZOOM meeting for
students who want to attend to practice what they want to say. Planned for April 7th during
the school day. Bianca will contact counselors/students with the link.
Respectfully submitted,
Angie Point, Secretary
