1) HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT: Five Year Consolidated Plan and One Year Annual Action Plan.
Notice of Public Hearing for Caldwell’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
5-year Consolidated Plan Development) for Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
Program Years 2021-2025/City of Caldwell Fiscal Years 2022-2026. The 5-year
Consolidated Plan outlines priority goals and projects to be undertaken with federal
HUD CDBG funding during the plan period. These activities may include single and
multi-family housing development, public services, public infrastructure/facilities and
housing rehabilitation and other eligible projects. The City of Caldwell 5-year CDBG
Consolidated Plan is due for submission to HUD on or before August 16, 2021. The
expected resources available during the first year are $498,085 for the CDBG program.
III. OLD BUSINESS:
1) ACTION ITEM: Case Number OA-21-05: A request by the Planning and Zoning
Department amending Chapter 12 Article 05-3M, of the Caldwell City Code, regarding
Placement of Nonpermanent Items in City Center Design Requirements with a new
designation “Outdoor Seating”.
