AN ORDINANCE ENACTED BY THE CALDWELL CITY COUNCIL AMENDING
CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 09, SECTION 02-09-05, OF THE CALDWELL CITY CODE,
PERTAINING TO THE ORGANIZATION AND BYLAWS OF THE GOLF BOARD;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS AND PARTS THEREOF,
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State
of Idaho:
Section 1. That Chapter 2, Article 09, Section 02-09-05, of the Caldwell City Code, is
hereby amended as follows:
02-09-05: ORGANIZATION AND BYLAWS:
(1) In lieu of any previously adopted bylaws, and to the extent not addressed through other
provisions within this article, the following rules and regulations shall govern the basic
business of the Caldwell Golf Course Board:
A. Officers: At its last regular meeting of the year Oetober Affle of eaebyea the board
shall elect its own Chairperson, Vice -Chairperson, and Secretary, to serve in said offices for one
year terms, commencing January d* 1 through December 31 J*ne-39 of the following year, and
may create and fill such other offices as it may determine to be necessary;
B. Meetings; Quorum: At its last regular meeting of the year, tThe board shall determine
its meeting schedule for the following year including location, frequency, and dates of the meetings

called by the Chairperson, City staff, or at the request of the Mayor upon at least seven (7) days'
written notice to the members of the board. The Chairperson will prepare the agenda for each
meeting. Complete minutes shall be kept by the Secretary. Following each meeting, copies of the
minutes shall be distributed by the Secretary to each member of the board. A quorum shall consist
of one-half(1/2) or more of the appointed members of the board.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval, and publication, according to law.
Section 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be severable. If any portion of this
ordinance is declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall
continue in full force and effect and shall be read to carry out the purposes of the ordinance before
the declaration of partial invalidity.

Section 4. All ordinances, resolutions, orders and parts thereof in conflict herewith are
repealed.
