Historic consultantSusan Stacy was also present The meeting of the Historic Preservat j.on 1991 was called to order in the City Chairman Chuck Randolph at 7:00 p.m. Commission of Apri I 11, Hal l Conference Room by The first item of business involved the minutes from the March 7,1991 meeting. Art Honey moved to approve the minutes. TomEnsley seconded the motion and the minutes were unanimouslyapproved as submitted. The next item on the agenda involved the introduction of theselected historic consultant, Susan Irt. Stacy. Chairman Randolphprovided an overview of the survey project for the benefit ofConrnission members as well as Ms. Stacy and recommended a nurnberof valuable sources that might assist in the project res€arch.There was discussion between the consultant and the members ofthe Cornrnission concerning the scope and magnitude of the project,the historic sigrnificance of the area and Cleveland Boulevard and some of the Commission's goals, objectives and expected use ofthe survey material. Dennis Crooks reviewed the project time frame and deadline forthe completion of the study and suggested that the conEultant beprepared to meet with the Comrnission two additional times, onceafter the r€connaj,ssanc€ l6ve1 survey has been completed and asecond time upon completion of the project. Meeting dates lnJuly and August grere suggested and grere agreed upon by the consu I tant . There rtas additional discussion concerning the selected sites tobe surveyed and to what extent the historic significance ofCleveland Boul€vard would be evaluated. It was the consensus of the CorEDission to keep the terenty sitesas selected and to allow the historic consultant some discretionto add other sites if warranted and to, at least. establish afoundation regarding the historic significance of Cleveland Bou I evard .
