MINUTES Meeting of April 13, 1995 Carol Burbanh Dean Finch, Elaine Leppert, Steve Maughan, Roy Payne Dennis Crooks, Liz Yeary Tom Ensley, Bill Gigray IU The April 13, meeting of the Historic Preservation Commission was called to order in the Caldwell City Library Idaho Room at 7:00 p.m. The first item of business was approval of the Minutes of the March 23,1995 meeting. Roy Payne offered a Motion to approve the Minutes as submitted. Carol Burbank seconded the Motion which passed unanimously. The next item involved a discussion of the arrangements for the Community Workshop on April 29. Dennis said that flyers had been distributed tkough the Chamber of Commerce and the local radio and newspaper had been notified ofthe event. The Press Tribune will do an article closer to the day. We will also make a sponsor board advertising those who have provided door prizes or helped publicize the event. Liz has sent letters to the utility companies asking for energy efficiency literature The Library will be open at 10:00 am. that morning, but if commissioners want to arrive earlier to help set up, they can knock on the door at the rear ofthe building to gain entrance. Puncll coffee and cups will be obtained for the refreshment break. Liz will send out a reminder ofthe workshop a few days prior. It was agreed that if everyone got to the Community Room about 12:30 p.m. this would be sufficient time to be prepared. Under new business, Dennis announced that Steve Maughan will give a brief report on the Historic Preservation Commission at the Council meeting of April 17,1995. This is one of a series of reports being given by Commissions and Department Heads to City Council. With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8.10 p.m. with a note that the next meeting of the Commission will be on Thursday, May I I, 1995.
