TzAA p.m. byroom. Present Nathelle Oates, Chairman were Greg Tom Chuck Lovan Approval of minutes: It was moved by Chuckby Nathelle Oates to approve the minutes ofmeeting as written. Motion carried. Randolph and seconded the January 5, 1989, First item of business was a report to Commission members on thestatus of the grant. Tom stated that the boundaries of the grantarea have been scaled back from the original city-wide plan to asection of town north of the railroad tricks, soulherfy of CanyonHi11r and lying generally between the Boise River and 2rst lvenueand west.erly of N. rllinois Avenue. This was done because theState Historic Preservation Office recommended a better-definedproject- Since the oldest section of town is around the railroadtracksr this seemed like a good st,arting place and is the areawhere the Historic commission teams have done the mostpreriminary work (that can be located). The City Engineer has indicated a mold could be fabricated by a local industrial metal firm and we might be able to make similar lights to fit in with streetscape plans.
