AnnaPolis, !1d. and November I-3 at lladison, Wie. and thaE the trip could be funded r,rith 1989 grant funds. lf any members vould be able to att,end, they shouLd contact, Tom. Discussed also was( the possibility of subloitting a granE application by the November 15r 1988, deadline. The PurPose of the grant would be to engage an individual to catalog and organize t.he information gathered in Ehe survey conducted in lhe past few years by Conrnission menbers. The survey was being done to conpile a local register,/file of historic buildings and sites. Teams vere formed to survey the city and docunent noterrorthy properties with photos and descriptions of physical characteristics. This part of the project r"ras basically complete, but. there has been no further work. Also' it has been learned t.hat black and whit.e photos are superior to colored ones for record keepingr so it may be necessary to retake thepictures. Commission members expressed an inEerest in applying for a grant to complete the study. The Chairman indicated he would draft, up a proposal and get sone estiDates of the work.
