Ann Swanson and Kathleen Watt of t.he state Historic PreservationOffice met with the Commission to discuss the projects that couldbe funded with National Park service matching granLs and also touched on tax credit projects. Commission members provided information on the survey of historicpropertiee in Caldwe1l rrhich nas begun several years ago with theassistt :e of .Iennifer Attebery and the State officer but whichhad never been completed. Interest was expressed in obtalningthe services of a consultant Eo analyze the material which hasbeen gathered, det.ermine $rhat properties needed more in-depthresearch, and do that research. The information would then be Placed in files both in City Ha11 and the Public Library to beavailable to the public and to city officiaLs for reference.
