CALDWELL HTSTORICAL COMMISSION
APRIL 18, 1985
Itlembers Present:
Jan Beckwlth, Dave Dorsey, Tom Ensley and new members Sylvia Robinson,
Mllton Roelofs and Ron Re&nond.
l'leetlng called to order by Chairman, Jan Beckwith.
The minutes from the last meettng were distributed and approved.
The new members were wel comed and given a brief'review of the activities
of the Connrission and sone of the goals for this year.
Discussion followed on the featuring, each month, through the news media, of
different historically significant buildings. Several di fferent buildings
were reviewed, including the original City school bui'lding. No definite
course of action was taken.
Also reviewed was the historlcal site survey each member is involved in,
and the survey evaluation sheet used.to compile the iriformation gathered
during the survey.
Assignnents were made for the new members to the survey teams, and they are
as fol I ows:
Milt Roelofs wlth Gary Hee and Jan Beckwith
Ron Redmond with Greg Lovan and Chuck Randolph
Sylvia Robinson with Lorene Thurston and Tom Ensley
