The regular meeting of the Historic Comm'ission was held in the
Council Chambers of City Hall at 5:00

The Chairman, Paul Evans, read the resignation of Elizabeth
Sullivan to take effect immediately.
A number of names $,ere suggested according to the various fieldsof interest such as history, architecture, urban planning, archeology
and law. Under history the name of tlilton Roelofs, under urban plan-
ning Lamar Boliinger and Llel Bettis, under law Scott Pasley, Bill
Gigray III and David tlhitney, under archeology, Dav'id Gillette.
A1 ice Dunlap moved that l,lilton Roelofs be approached by the
chairman to be named to fill the vacancy left by Elizabeth Sullivan.
Seconded and carried.
Jan Beckvrith mentioned the National Trust Workshop on preserva-
tion to be held June 6,7 and 8 in Butte, I{ontana.
Mr. Evans presented the re-written ordinance for discussion. It
was suggested that a purpose be included and the time then being 6:30
a cailed meeting was set for February 20 at 5:00 p.m.

Minutes were read & Corrected. Evans announced 8111 Glgray hadresignetl from the coomission, ilue to lack of time. It was also
announc€al that Milton Roelofs had been contacted but as he drlves
school bus woul-d have a tlme confl-lct. Ken Roberts, attorney, wL11
be contactetl as well as l,anar Bolllnger for places on the commission.
Work contlnued on the ordinance.
