AN ORDINANCE ENACTED BY THE CALDWELL CITY COUNCIL AMENDING
CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 1, SECTION 02-01-07, CALDWELL CITY CODE, PERTAINING
TO THE MEETING TIME AND LOCATION OF THE CALDWELL CITY COUNCIL;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS AND PARTS THEREOF,
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State
of Idaho:
Section 1. That Chapter 2, Article 1, Section 02-01-07, of the Caldwell City Code, is
hereby amended as follows:
02-01-07: MEETINGS:
(1) Time And Place: The council shall hold regular sessions at the Caldwell Police
Department Community Room located at 110 South 51h Avenue, on the first and third Thursdays
of each month, starting at six o'clock in the afternoon (6:00 P.M.). in the eity hall on the first and
third Mendays of eaeh month at seven e'eleek (7�00) PAC
(2) Meetings Open To The Public: All meetings of the council shall be open to the
public, except that executive sessions may be closed by the presiding officer pursuant to Idaho
Code section 67-2345. ,
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect as of July 1, 2022, following
its publication according to law.
Section 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be severable. If any portion of this
ordinance is declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall
continue in full force and effect and shall be read to carry out the purposes of the ordinance before
the declaration of partial invalidity.
Section 4. All ordinances, resolutions, orders and parts thereof in conflict herewith are
repealed, as of the effective date hereof.

NOTICE OF ADOPTION AND SUMMARY OF
ORDINANCE NO. 3409
AN ORDINANCE ENACTED BY THE CALDWELL CITY COUNCIL AMENDING CHAPTER 2,
ARTICLE 1, SECTION 02-01-07, CALDWELL CITY CODE, PERTAINING TO THE MEETING
TIME AND LOCATION OF THE CALDWELL CITY COUNCIL; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS AND PARTS THEREOF, IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH.
Section 1: Amends Chapter 2, Article 01, Sections 02-01-07, Caldwell City Code, by moving the regular
meeting time of the Caldwell City Council meetings to the first and third Thursdays of each month, with
said meetings beginning at 6:OPM.
Sections 2 through 4: Provides that this ordinance shall be in full force and effect on July 1, 2022; provides
for severability; repeals conflicting ordinances, resolutions, and orders.
Ordinance No. 3409 provides an effective date, which shall be on the 1" day of July, 2022. Ordinance
No. 3409 was passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor on the 4`h day of April, 2022. The full text
of the Ordinance is available at Caldwell City Hall, 411 Blaine Street, Caldwell, Idaho 83605. The Mayor
and City Council approved the foregoing summary on the 4`h day of April, 2022, for publication on the 12"
day of April, 2022, pursuant to Idaho Code § 50-901 A.
